A reminder to visit the NIH Scientific Data Sharing website as the implementation of the new NIH Data Management & Sharing Policy is underway. Visitors will find sample sharing plans, tips for developing your budget, resources and FAQs. A YouTube video is available on navigating the site. The NIH Data Management & Sharing Policy NOT-OD-21-013 is effective for applications due on or after January 25, 2023. The new policy will require a data management and sharing plan for all NIH-funded projects, an expansion from the current requirement for projects over $500,000 in annual direct costs.
