Alex Goldman is a Proposal Development Officer on the Transformational Awards team in the Office of Research Administration (ORA) at Harvard Medical School. With 10 years of research finance and administration experience across MIT, Harvard SEAS, and Harvard HMS, Alex has supported a number of high-volume labs and complex awards with a diverse range of research focuses. Prior to joining ORA, Alex served as Assistant Director of Finance at the Harvard Program in Therapeutic Science (HiTS) where he led a three-person grant administration team on best practices for interpreting sponsor guidelines and Harvard policies to identify risk, mitigate submission errors, and meet sponsor and HMS submission standards and deadlines.
