About us
The Grants and Contracts Team supports sponsored research projects from initial award stage throughout the life of the project, and also supports other academic research activities through the review, negotiation, signing, and administration of research-related agreements:
- Reviews, negotiates, and signs incoming award agreements
- Reviews and submits requests for sponsor prior approval
- Coordinates setup and maintenance of sponsored award accounts
- Drafts, negotiates, and signs other research-related agreements, such as data use agreements, unfunded collaboration agreements, and others
- Assists with administrative (non-financial) portions of award close-out
- Interprets contract terms and assists with questions and issues arising from research-related agreements throughout the terms of such agreements
- Participates in school- and University-wide work groups and committees to create or update policies, procedures, and resources relating to academic research contracting
