Angela Allen is an Award Management Specialist in the Office of Research Administration (ORA) at Harvard Medical School. She works in collaboration with ORA colleagues and a portfolio of HMS departmental administrators, researchers, and Principal Investigators on a wide range of NIH awards to ensure compliance with sponsor regulations and University/HMS policy from award receipt through closeout. Angela previously worked in the Physics Department at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Harvard University since 2004 and remained there for 20 years before joining HMS. She started her career at Harvard as a Faculty Assistant and moved into the field of research administration in 2014 as a Senior Sponsored Research Administrator before transitioning to a Portfolio Manager in 2021. Angela holds a BA in Communication from Suffolk University, an MA in Visual and Media Arts from Emerson College, and an ALM in Management from the Harvard Extension School.
