Barbara Rankin is a Senior Pre-Award Officer in the Office of Research and Administration (ORA) at Harvard Medical School. She has 23 years of research administration experience. Barbara began working as a Financial Staff Assistant in Harvard's OSP and has held various roles at HSPH, HSDM and FAS. Barbara’s work primarily focuses on providing support and assistance to Principal Investigators (PIs) and Grant Managers (GMs) as they prepare proposals for submission to external sponsors. As an Authorized Organizational Representative, she reviews and submits applications on behalf of the Medical School. She holds a BS degree in Management from Northeastern University.
