Bryan O’Keefe Erickson is a Senior Grants & Contracts Officer in the Office of Research Administration (ORA) at Harvard Medical School (HMS). He is responsible for reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and executing incoming awards and other research-related agreements in his portfolio, to ensure compliance with sponsor guidelines and University policies and to mitigate risk to the University. Having worked previously at the Harvard School of Public Health in the Office of Sponsored Programs, Bryan is well acquainted with the Longwood Medical Area. Immediately prior to joining HMS, he was responsible for overseeing both sponsored and non-sponsored research activity at MIT. Bryan has fifteen years of research administration experience and has worked with many Federal and non-Federal sponsors/agencies, in varying industry settings, including nonprofit, higher education, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology. Bryan holds a BA degree from the University of Central Florida and continues his education at the Harvard Extension School.
