Caitlin McCarty is a Senior Pre-Award Officer in the Office of Research Administration (ORA) at Harvard Medical School. She has over 14 years of experience in research administration, with a specific expertise in pre-award management and proposal development as well as a keen interest in research administration education and research compliance. Caitlin graduated summa cum laude with a BA in English and Political Science from the University of New Hampshire, as well as an MS in Management with a specialization in Research Administration from Emmanuel College. She obtained her CRA credential from the Research Administrator’s Certification Council in 2016 and has held previous RA roles at both Boston Children’s Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, writing, and traveling.
