Christopher Boylan is a Senior Grants and Contracts Officer in the Office of Research Administration (ORA) at Harvard Medical School. He is responsible for reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and executing all incoming awards and other research-related agreements in his portfolio to ensure compliance with relevant sponsor guidelines and University policies and to mitigate risk to the University. He also develops ORA business processes and templates and negotiates outgoing agreements for HMS Internal Award programs utilizing special funds. Prior to joining HMS, Christopher practiced law for several years at a north of Boston insurance company and played a significant role in process improvements for his department. He holds a JD from Suffolk University Law School and a BS in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University.
