Elizabeth Tran-Nguyen is a Senior Grants and Contracts Officer in the Office of Research Administration (ORA) at Harvard Medical School. She is responsible for reviewing, drafting, negotiating and executing non-direct NIH agreements and other research-related agreements in her portfolio to ensure compliance with sponsor guidelines and University policies.
Prior to her current role, Elizabeth also worked as a Grants and Contracts Officer at her alma mater, the University of California, San Diego, where she was responsible for managing all pre- to post-award federal research activities for half of UCSD’s Health Sciences departments in addition to billing agreements and ancillary research agreements. This is also where Elizabeth spearheaded several projects that focused on the development and implementation of business process improvements as well as the campus’s transitions to new enterprise systems.
