Jonathan Eaton is the Associate Director of Transformational Awards in the Office of Research Administration at Harvard Medical School, where he performs a wide range of complex and confidential award- and agreement-related tasks as part of the ORA Grants & Contracts Team. He is responsible for reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and executing all incoming awards and other research-related agreements in his portfolio to ensure compliance with relevant sponsor guidelines and University policies and to mitigate risk to the University. Prior to joining Harvard Medical School, Jonathan worked as a trial attorney and mediator for a small firm. Jonathan holds a JD from Suffolk University Law School. While at Suffolk, he was the Editor in Chief of the Journal of Health & Biomedical Law. Jonathan also holds a BA degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he majored in Psychology and Political Science, with a minor in Anthropology.
