Kevin Ritchie is the Associate Director of Awards Management, in the Office of Research Administration (ORA) at Harvard Medical School. He works with sponsors and peer institutions to execute various research-related agreements, and supports HMS departments and Principal Investigators throughout the administrative lifecycle of their research projects. Additionally, Kevin manages the outgoing subawards process at HMS, and helps the school build capacity to handle administratively complex awards. He entered research administration as a graduate student intern in the University of California’s Office of the President, and has degrees from George Washington University and UC Berkeley. Kevin previously served worldwide as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps, and worked for an inter-governmental organization at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City.
