Regina Evans is a Senior Grants & Contracts Officer in the Office of Research Administration (ORA) at Harvard Medical School (HMS). She is responsible for reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and executing all incoming awards and other research-related agreements in her portfolio to ensure compliance with relevant sponsor guidelines and University policies and to mitigate risk to the University. Before joining HMS, Regina worked for the Department of Commerce at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration where she spearheaded the development and implementation of business processes designed to ensure programs administered agency-funded grants and contracts in compliance with federal regulations. Regina continues her work on Afros & AltitudesTM, a passion project she launched to curate cultural and language immersion travel experiences designed to engage African-American women and the children they influence in bilingualism and global citizenship. Regina holds a BA in Political Science, with a minor in sociology, from Central Connecticut State University and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Phoenix.
