Scott Parkinson is a Senior Grants & Contracts Officer in the Office of Research Administration (ORA) at Harvard Medical School. Scott has over 15 years of experience in higher education research administration with an emphasis in biomedical research contracting. Scott has worked at a number of different universities in the US, both public and private, most recently as the Manager of the Contracts Office for the Health Sciences Division at the University of Arizona. Scott holds a BA from the University of San Francisco and a JD from Seattle University. Scott was also a research fellow at George Lakoff’s cognitive linguistics think tank, the Rockridge Institute, where he studied how religion is used in US political messaging.
