Susan Cohn-Child is a Senior Grants and Contracts Officer in the Office of Research Administration (ORA) at Harvard Medical School. She is responsible for reviewing, drafting, negotiating and executing all incoming awards and other research-related agreements in her portfolio to ensure compliance with sponsor guidelines and University policies and to mitigate risk to the University. Prior to her current role, Susan worked in the T.H. Chan School of Public Health, most recently as an Assistant Director of Finance. Susan is currently a member of the University wide Operation and Policy Committee and the HMS Training Committee. Before working at Harvard, Susan served in the Africa Region of an International Development firm based in Washington, D.C., administering USAID and World Bank funded projects. Susan has nearly twenty years of experience in research administration at Harvard University, and holds an MA in International Development from American University.
