Following the January 14, 2022 GMAS Release, which includes a new request type for NIH Just-in-Time submissions, a request must now be entered in GMAS for all NIH Just-in-Time and RPPR submissions, whether NIH is our direct sponsor or the prime sponsor (i.e., when Harvard is a subrecipient). Also note that when an HMS individual is participating as a senior/key personnel on another school or department’s JIT or RPPR, you should prepare and work with your ORA Pre-Award Officer to finalize the reporting individual’s "Other Support" before sending to the submitting school. In addition to the new Just-in-Time Request, other enhancements include:
New: “Other foreign support and activities” document repository at the person level
Changes to “Current and Pending Support” download, including a change of the name to “Active and Pending Projects”
New: Enhanced current and pending download available from a person’s profile called, “Other support and activities” that combines GMAS, OAIR, and DUA data (report is available for download only to the individual, not their support staff)
Addition of a “Unique Entity Identifier (UEI)” field at the organization level
