Introduction to SciENcv Sessions

Use SciENcv to create biosketches required for federal grant applications

Introduction to SciENcv Sessions

The Science Experts Network Curriculum Vitae SciENcvwhich serves as an interagency system designed to create biosketches for multiple federal agencies, supports both the NIH and NSF biosketch formats. Within SciENcv, you can easily transform an existing biosketch from one format to another (e.g., old NIH format to new NIH format, NIH format to NSF format). Harvard strongly recommends that faculty use SciENcv to develop or revise their biosketch and automatically format it according to NIH requirements. Offered by the Countway Library, upcoming sessions will demonstrate how researchers (and their delegates) can use SciENcv to create and easily maintain biosketches required for federal grant applications and annual reports. Each one-hour session will cover the following: adding a delegate who can help maintain and create new biosketches; linking eRA Commons and ORCID accounts to SciENcv; building a bibliography (system automatically displays Public Access compliance status for each entry in the bibliography); steps to building, printing, and sharing the Biosketch. Register in advance.
