Mandatory Use of SciENcv for NSF Key Personnel Documents
Effective Monday, October 23rd
NSF requires the use of SciENcv (only) for Biographical Sketches and Current & Pending (Other) Support effective October 23, 2023 (see more information on the NSF requirements here). Note that the documents need to be certified before uploading them to the proposal. If any issues are identified during ORA review, the forms will need to be returned to the department/key personnel to be revised and recertified, so you may want to build in additional time for revisions. The easiest way to populate your SciENcv biosketch is through ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID), which is a unique, persistent identifier. PIs, faculty, and other researchers who may be key personnel on NSF awards should obtain an ORCID now, if they haven’t already. See Harvard Library information and resources on ORCID here.
