An updated ORA Roles & Responsibilities Chart has posted effective September 7, 2021. The document is located on the ORA Website About Us section. Note the following changes:

• GCOs Grants & Contracts Officers and AMSs Award Management Specialists will handle GMAS approvals at award stage. This helps to reinforce the distinction between Proposal and JIT actions and Award Receipt/Management/Closeout actions.
• AMSs will handle all NIH U cooperative agreements and P center grants. For NIH awards, GCOs will only work on OTAs, FAR-based contracts, and situations where HMS is a subrecipient.
