Harvard Catalyst’s Writing and Communication Center was established in 2021 to empower clinical and translational researchers and team members throughout every stage of their careers to better articulate their science. The center includes dozens of free resources, tools, and trainings on science communication, including self-guided learning modules, videos featuring leading experts, rubrics, templates and worksheets, links to courses, recommended reading, and more. We also offer workshops and one-to-one consultation services.
All content is structured around and informed by our scientific communication competency framework.
How to Utilize It:
- Apply for our NIH K Grant Consultation service.
- Receive grant writing tips and take courses on various grant writing and funding topics.
- Learn how to write clearly and get your manuscript published.
- Improve your research presentation and elevator pitch skills via workshops, videos, and templates on oral communication.
- Design compelling and engaging visuals for poster presentations, slides, and more.
