OSP provided a recent update regarding "Tracking of COVID-19 Research Expenses." The University's August 27, 2020 guidance has changed. There is no longer a need to track expenses on projects related to COVID, if the funding is not from an appropriation or deemed by the awarding agency (through the award notice) as COVID-19 related funding. HMS ORA will manage the set-up of subactivities if expenses must be tracked for federal reporting purposes. Refer to the Guide for tracking COVID funding in GMAS .
