Harvard updated the Financial Management of Property, Plant and Equipment (PPE) Policy with an effective date of July 1, 2025. The update includes an increase of the capitalization threshold of movable fixtures and equipment to $10,000 (from $5,000) unless the purchase was made on a sponsored award with a start date before 7/1/2025. Physical inventory thresholds based on purchase date and funding type have also been revised.
